The Centre for Entrepreneurship (C4E) of the University of Cyprus is pleased to announce that the Cyprus Entrepreneurship Competition (CyEC) 2025 is well underway \u2014 marking the largest edition in the history of the competition, with over 50 applications from aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and startups across Cyprus.<\/p>\n

Organized by the Centre for Entrepreneurship (C4E) – University of Cyprus, under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry, the CyEC continues to serve as the nation\u2019s flagship platform for innovation and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n

The 2025 edition features two distinct tracks:<\/p>\n

This year, CyEC proudly announces a new strategic partnership with NBG Business Seeds, <\/strong>a program by National Bank of Greece<\/strong>, supporting innovative and outward-looking entrepreneurship, thus creating a bridge between the Cypriot and Greek innovation ecosystems.<\/p>\n Through this collaboration, the CyEC 2025 winning teams will secure guaranteed participation in the Innovation & Technology Competition<\/strong> organized by National Bank of Greece in both countries, gaining access to a wider network of investors, mentors, and innovation stakeholders in the region.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n CyEC 2025 is made possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry <\/strong>(main sponsor) and Digital Tree E-Publishers <\/strong>(communication sponsor).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Pitching Day<\/strong> \u2014 where the finalist teams will present their business ideas to a panel of judges, investors, and innovation leaders \u2014 will take place on Tuesday, 26 November 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A follow-up announcement will soon provide more information on the venue, participating teams, and special guests.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Through its growing impact, CyEC continues to nurture Cyprus\u2019s innovation ecosystem \u2014 empowering teams to transform their ideas into sustainable ventures and strengthening the country\u2019s entrepreneurial future.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
