The University of Cyprus announces its rankings in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026 by Subject, with placements across 10 subject areas. This milestone strengthens the University\u2019s international visibility and confirms the breadth, quality, and impact of UCY\u2019s academic and research activity.<\/p>\n

THE\u2019s subject rankings assess universities using 18 performance indicators grouped into five pillars that reflect key dimensions of institutional strength, including the teaching environment, research volume and reputation, citation impact, international outlook, and engagement with industry and society. UCY\u2019s presence across ten subject rankings underscores the University\u2019s growing contribution to global scholarship and its role as a leading public university in the region.<\/p>\n

Notably, UCY recorded its strongest performance in four subject areas, ranking in the 301-400 band: Arts and Humanities, Education Studies, Medical and Health, and Psychology.<\/p>\n

UCY\u2019s results for the 10 subject areas in which it is ranked are presented in the table below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
