SPECIAL CRITERIA THAT GOVERN THE ENTRANCE OF ATHLETES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CYPRUS |
INTRODUCTION
Athleticism and especially competitive, is manifold and multidimensional and for this reason the evaluation is difficult between games and sports or progress and performance.
In sports though like track and swimming, the evaluation is done with countable criteria whereas in sports like Gymnastics, judo, wrestling etc, the result is up to the judgment of the judge/s. On the other hand though there are sports that depend on the degree of concentration and on the psychological preparation on the particular day of the match, such as shooting.
There are also group sports where the athlete does not depend only on his/her performance.

The evaluation criterion that is taken into consideration is the pancyprian examination marking.
