Telemachos Kanthos Foundation
The Telemachos Kanthos Foundation, a non profit cultural foundation, was established with the mission to preserve and promote the work of the internationally known Cypriot painter and engraver Telemachos Kanthos, as well as the arts in general, emphasis been given to painting, music, theatre and literature.
The ideal of the all round artist that Telemachos Kanthos represented, given his wonderful way of expressing himself not only in his paintings and engravings but also in his writings and even in music, lies at the basis of the Foundation’ s contribution to an international dialogue between artists of different fields.
The creation of opportunities for communication with European, as well as international fora, and the support of activities that help enlarge the public’s view of the world of art and generate creative powers are some of the means through which this goal is being approached.
