
First meeting between the TETHYS team and Aeolian Dynamics

As part of identifying key stakeholders who can help shape the future of renewable energy, part of the TETHYS team held a highly productive discussion with representatives from Aeolian Dynamics Ltd, one of Cyprus' leading companies in the renewable energy field. This session was rich with insights and strategic discussions that will greatly benefit the project’s trajectory!
Highlights included:
- Brainstorming innovative ideas to enhance project impact and outreach
- Gaining valuable insights from Aeolian Dynamics’ extensive industry experience
- Discussing commercialization strategies to identify potential project solutions that are market-ready and sustainable
- Touring the impressive new buildings of the UCY Faculty of Engineering, with cutting-edge facilities that are sure to inspire a new generation of innovators

Renewal of the Collaboration Between the University of Cyprus and the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry

The collaboration with the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, has a long history of successful synergies and substantial results, through the partnership with various entities of the University of Cyprus, such as the School of Engineering.
In the context of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with the aim of more effectively seeking common ground for the development of new collaborations, the transfer of know-how and the contribution to the development of the state, presentations of research results were held.
The presentations focused on thematic priorities defined by the Ministry. Nine targeted proposals and solutions, were presented including:

Multimarine Services and UCY sign a 5-year MoU
December, 2023
The Multimarine Services Ltd and the University of Cyprus, signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Thus, setting the foundation for upgrading their collaboration on technological advancement and promotion of research culture.
Present at the ceremony were the Coordinator of the TETHYS project Prof. Dimitris Stagonas and member of the team Prof. Dimokratis Grigoriadis, who were instrumental in establishing this partnership.
