Antonios Polychronopoulos is a Senior Warranty Manager, Offshore Service in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy A/S with experience in energy industry. As a passionate advocate for floating wind turbines and green hydrogen technologies brings a unique blend of expertise and enthusiasm to Tethys project.

With a background in wind industry, Antonios has held several technical & commercial roles at wind turbine European manufacturers (Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy A/S, Vestas Wind Systems A/S), relevant with Offshore Construction, Offshore Service, Global Procurement and Commercial Sales. Additionally, Antonios has been guest lecturer in universities on topics related with renewable energy.

Antonios holds a B.Eng. in Civil & Infrastructure Engineering from University of West Attica (Greece), a B.Eng. in Civil & Structural Engineering from Newcastle University (United Kingdom), a M.Sc. in Renewable Energy from the Newcastle University (United Kingdom) and a M.Eng. in Technology based Business Development from the Aarhus University (Denmark). Currently he pursues a PhD in mechanical engineering at the University of Peloponnese (Greece), with focus on offshore construction optimization.

Pavlos Phokas

Pavlos Phokas holds a MSc in Management & Regulation of Risk from the London School of Economics (LSE). Pavlos started his career as an HSE Advisor in the onshore and offshore Oil & Gas Industry in the North Sea. Pavlos’ experience varies from offshore construction and commissioning projects, offshore maintenance projects, as well as FEED Projects.

Pavlos holds the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and joined Multimarine Services in 2010. Pavlos currently serves as the Commercial Director of Multimarine Group and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Group companies with strong focus in the energy, maritime and renewable sectors.

In 2019, Pavlos was awarded with the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Anthi Charalambous

Director @ ideopsis

Anthi Charalambous is a Chemical Engineer with advanced degrees in Environmental Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), and Renewable Energy & Energy Management from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

She has extensive experience in the energy and environmental sectors, including leadership roles at the Cyprus Energy Agency (2009–2016) and the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) as Director of Energy & Environment (2016–2022). Currently, she is the Founder and Director of KyklOIKOdromio, an environmental non-profit, and Director of ideopsis Ltd, a consulting firm.

Anthi is actively involved in international standards and committees, including ISO/TC 323 (Circular Economy), CYS/MC 14.3 (Sustainable & Resilient Cities), and CYS/MC 15.01/15.04 (Circular Economy and Environmental Advisory Bodies). She was appointed to the European Industry Advisory Forum (2021) and currently serves as Chair of the International Solar Energy Organization (Cyprus) for a three-year term starting in 2022.

Throughout her career, she has organized numerous workshops on environmental and energy issues.

Laura Serri is the Head of Research Group and Project Manager at the T&D Technology Department of Ricerca sul Sistema Energetico (RSE) SpA in Milan, Italy. With a foundation in Physics, she has spent over 30 years developing multidisciplinary expertise in wind and ocean energy, superconductivity, and electro-optics, with a consistent focus on applications within energy and electrical systems. Throughout her career, she has held diverse roles, including Project Manager, Research Group Leader, Project Evaluator, and Chair, Vice-Chair, and member of international committees. Her work is driven by a steadfast commitment to advancing technologies that contribute to a cleaner planet.
