The Centre for Medieval Arts and Rituals (CeMAR) of the University of Cyprus organises the International Conference “Rituals of Mothering in the Middle Ages” (15–16 January 2026). The conference explores rituals, practices, and perceptions of motherhood and breastfeeding during the medieval period, highlighting social roles and symbolic meanings. The event will be held in a hybrid format and is open to the public with prior registration.
