Planning / Design
The study and design of the Campus Supplementary Offices was prepared by the Campus Development Office (CDO) in collaboration with the office of Mr. Paraskevas Georgiou who prepared the structural study.
Design Team
The team established for the study and supervision of the Project consists of the following:

Project Description / Uses
The project includes a horizontal extension of an existing building with a new “wing”, as well as a limited degree of maintenance of an existing stone-built section, and primarily accommodates office and other related spaces
The extension is formed by a composite structure with visible elements of both reinforced concrete and metal structural members and cladding.
The building is intented to cover temporary or transitional uses. Until May 2006, the building housed the Technical Services / CDO.
At present, it accommodates the Oceanographic Center, while office space has been temporarily allocated to the Faculty of Pure & Applied Sciences.

The total area of the Project is 541 square metres as analysed below:

- Does not include Lobbies, circulation spaces, stairs, mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, servers and walls.
- Includes all indoor areas.
- Includes all open-air covered areas.
- It is the total of the Gross Building Area plus the Semi open-air spaces Area.
Project Construction
Construction works began in March 2002 and were completed in September 2002.
Project Cost
The cost for the construction works amounted approximately to €361.042 (CYP 211.308,60) (excluding V.A.T.).
