The Network for Medieval Arts and Rituals (NetMAR), expresses its gratitude for the warm hospitality of its partner, the Centre for Medieval Literature at Syddansk Universitet, on hosting the 4th Exchange Coordinated Support Action (CSA) visit!

First session on day 1 covered topics on grants, grant writing and research support: challenges, initiatives, and perspectives with sessions from Aglae Pizzone (CML/DIAS, SDU) on MSCA Doctoral Networks, Casper Sylvest (Dept. History, SDU) on Coordination of research applications at the department of History feedback and support at the department and Lars Boje Mortensen (CML, SDU) on Evaluation of Marie Curie Research Proposals. Day 1 of the visit was fulfilled with NetMAR Influences Cluster session, chaired by Nils Holger Petersen (KU/SDU) with 2 topics by Sofie Kluge from the Dept. for the Study of Culture & PI of HISTORIES research project at SDU on "Theatre as Ritual, Ritual as Theatre" and Rasmus Vangshardt (Dept. for the Study of Culture, SDU) on "Genre and Metaphor as Ritual".
Day 2 of #NetMAR 4th Exchange CSA visit at Centre for Medieval Literature of #SDU was filled in with an excursion to Ringsted and Sorø and guided tours on funerary and royal rituals by Lars Bisgaard (Dept. History, SDU), Nils Holger Petersen (KU/SDU) and Lars Boje Mortensen (CML, SDU)!
Day 3 and final day included the NetMAR Partners’ meeting and a Business meeting on Joint Initiative Framework & brainstorming on MSCA Doctoral Network application. The programme also included presentations at Odense Bys Museer of the collection of Cypriot antiquities, its history and main features by Jannie Amsgaard Ebsen (Curator, Odense City Museums) and Jane Hjarl Petersen (Classical studies, SDU).
