The Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Cyprus, together with the Formula Racing Team of the University of Cyprus (FRTUCY), and in collaboration with the Cyprus Classic Car Touring Club (CCCTC), proudly presents the Classic Car Expo II, to be held at the University of Cyprus Social Activities Centre, on Tuesday, March 18, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
As with last year’s event, beyond the display of unique and beautiful classic cars, the event will have a social and educational character. A blood donation drive will take place along with road safety awareness activities in cooperation with the Cyprus Police. Visitors will also be able to receive information from classic car enthusiasts on classic vehicles and the history of motoring. In addition, the public will have the opportunity to participate in classic car contests and win prizes from the Cyprus Classic Car Touring Club.
Formula Racing Team University of Cyprus (FRTUCY)
The Formula Racing Team University of Cyprus (FRTUCY) is the official racing team of the University. Its mission is to design and build a single-seater formula-style vehicle as part of the Formula Student (FSAE) European competition. This competition evaluates engineering students on their judgment and technical skills. In 2023, FRTUCY built its first formula car, and since then, the team has earned several distinctions.
Cyprus Classic Car Touring Club (CCCTC)
The Cyprus Classic Car Touring Club (CCCTC) is one of the largest and most active classic car clubs in Cyprus. It is a member of both the Cyprus Federation of Classic Vehicles (OKAK) and the International Federation of Historic Vehicles (FIVA). Beyond frequent classic vehicle tours, the Club has a strong record of social and cultural contributions.
