The University of Cyprus produces and publishes a wide range of materials related to the University’s programmes of study, research, student life, and cultural and scholarly projects. These publications provide comprehensive information about the University to the public, current and prospective students, and the international community. Among the publications produced are the undergraduate and postgraduate prospectuses (in both Greek and English), the University’s Annual Report, student guides, departmental leaflets, and a series of other publications that promote and support the University’s institutional needs.

While the University’s main publications are produced by the Publications Office, a substantial number of other publications are produced by various services, offices and departments of the University, including the Academic Affairs and Student Welfare Service, the Promotion and Development Sector, and the University of Cyprus Theatrical Workshop (Michalis Pieris Cultural Centre).

The Cyprus University Press was established to promote and support the University’s academic publications. Its aim is to make a dynamic contribution to the publishing sector,  both in Cyprus and internationally, by producing high-quality, contemporary works. Cyprus University Press selects its books based on scholarly merit, covering a wide range of topics including academic research and teaching, literature, history, philosophy, and Cyprological studies.
