The Research Development Sector is responsible for support the academic community of the Univerity of Cyprus in submitting proposals for funding. in particular the Sector has the following responsibilities:
– Functioning as single contact point for all departments/research centers for all matters of proposal preparation for external funding
– Creation of research funding profiles for academics (Personal research information, Available calls, non-conventional)
– Creation of research funding profiles for academics (Personal research information, Available calls, non-conventional)
– Update of profile on an annual basis or on an ad-hoc basis if asked by the researcher
– Identification of funding opportunities and communication to the UCY research community (with the help of the European Office of Cyprus)
– Acquisition of excellent knowledge of external funding schemes and actions
– Support to the UCY research community in the proposal preparation phase (admin info, budget planning and preparation, impact and implementation writing, communication with funding agencies, etc)
