The support for the fianncial management of research projects is provided by the Financial Management of Research Projects Sector of the Research Support Service. The Sector has the following responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the progress of funded projects in terms of financial monitoring & reporting
- Support the UCY academic community in carrying our their funded projects with advice, guidelines, templates and other material on financial issues.
- Process all necessary accounting transactions to facilitate efficient recording and monitoring of the execution of the project budget for both internally and externally funded projects
- Claim the role of internal contact points for the financial management regulations for specific funding schemes/actions
