Levent Neyse Visits SInnoPSis
May 20, 2025At SInnoPSis, we focus on producing high-quality research with policy relevance, and on making our findings accessible to scholars, policymakers, and the broader public. As our research agenda continues to mature, dissemination becomes an increasingly important part of our mission. Recent activities showcase both the international recognition of our work and the development of our young researchers.
Our ERA Chair holder, Zacharias Maniadis, presented at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology as part of the Decision, Experience, and Behavior seminar series. His talk focused on the “Identify the Expert” problem, developed in collaboration with Sotiris Georganas, Aristotelis Boukouras, and Theodore Alysandratos. This research highlights that across a range of conditions, people tend to favor populists—those who tell them what they want to hear—over true experts with informed but less popular views. The findings carry deep implications for democratic decision-making and market behavior.

- The International Meeting on Experimental and Behavioral Economics (May 22 – 24, 2025)
Elia Antoniou will present: “Understanding the Source of Algorithmic Aversion: An Experimental Approach”, and Ranim Assi will present: “Hyperinflation Expectations: An Experimental Study”.
