The Department brings together faculty whose expertise spans management and organisational studies, marketing and international business, and operations, analytics and decision sciences. This expertise is grounded in sustained scholarly research and is mobilised through engagement with organisations, policymakers, professional communities and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Faculty regularly contribute to invited workshops, professional seminars and executive training initiatives for organisations. In addition to ad hoc engagements, the Department has designed and delivered customised training programmes for specific organisations, including large-scale initiatives involving extended professional development over sustained periods. These activities translate research insights into frameworks that support leadership, strategic decision-making, organisational effectiveness and responsible management. Further, members of the Department provide advisory input to ministries, regulatory authorities, financial institutions and non-governmental expertise to policy design, evaluation, and institutional reform.
Entrepreneurship and innovation constitute a defining element of the Department’s expertise and engagement. The Department plays a sustained role in shaping the national entrepreneurial ecosystem through relevant student training, professional development activities and sustainable business development.
