With great pleasure, the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cyprus welcomes second-year Lyceum students, within the framework of the Work Experience Week – Job Shadowing Programme of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth.
Aim
The aim of hosting the students is to provide them with exposure to the working environment, as well as to familiarize them with the professional practices of host organizations and employers.
During the work experience week, students have the opportunity to learn about the Faculty’s offered study programmes and its modern research areas. At the same time, they become acquainted with the facilities and laboratories, and have the opportunity to interact with academics, researchers, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students. In this way, they gain an authentic “taste” of both the professional and student experience at the Faculty of Engineering.
