General Information

The Department of Psychology is a newly established Department at the University of Cyprus that aims at excellence in teaching and research. It offers an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology which allows students to either continue their studies at the graduate level or to be employed in a field where psychological knowledge and skills are relevant.

The Department also offers three Master's degrees. The Master Degree in School Psychology is a 3-year applied program that includes a clinical practicum and complies fully with the specifications of the EuroPsy-The European Certificate in psychology. This degree allows students to work as practitioners according to national certification guidelines and requirements. Moreover, a Master's Degree in School Counseling and Guidance, and two other programs, which are two-year each and they focus on research. Finally, the Department offers a Master's Degree in Social and Developmental Psychology. Also, there are two Ph.D. programs in our department, one is offered in Clinical Psychology and the other one in Psychology.

The Department of Psychology at the University of Cyprus adheres to the new policy and the Official Guidelines on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in teaching and research.
