StoryPharm Training in Critical Discourse Analysis

15–19 September 2025, University of Lund

StoryPharm is pleased to announce its upcoming Training in Critical Discourse Analysis, hosted by the Centre for Languages and Literature, University of Lund.

This five-day programme will introduce StoryPharm’s Doctoral Fellows to key theories and methods of discourse analysis, with a focus on different types of discourses shape and reflect practices in medicine and health. The programme includes sessions on medical ideas from Antiquity to the post-medieval world, the narrative practices in modern healthcare, metrology, and insights into the everyday life of doctors.  Combining seminars, lectures, workshops, practical exercises, and excursions the training brings together perspectives from discourse analysis, the history of medicine, and narrative medicine.

The training offers participants not only advanced research tools for their projects but also skills that will help them succeed in diverse career paths in academia and the industry.
