StoryPharm was awarded €5,1 million in funding as part of the Horizon Europe (2021–2027) competitive programme Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – Doctoral Networks. The project’s consortium includes the University of Cyprus (coordinator), the University of Bamberg (Germany), the University of Lund (Sweden), the University of Salerno (Italy), and the University of Cardiff (UK). The project also involves non-academic partners such as pharmaceutical companies, museums, libraries, and a publishing house.

The project offers 19 doctoral fellowships that provide high-quality multifaceted training, enabling fellows to develop research and transferable skills. Through this training, selected fellows are well prepared to pursue successful careers in research, as well as in the fields of health, education, and culture.
