Our laboratory was established with the purpose of scientifically studying various phenomena related to the development and maintenance of psychological difficulties. Emphasis is placed on both basic and applied research on anxiety-related problems and health-related difficulties. Another primary goal is the scientific evaluation and further development of psychotherapeutic prevention and intervention programs, using methodologies and techniques based on the cognitive-behavioral approach. Special attention is given to third-wave cognitive-behavioral therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCT).

We are dedicated to utilizing the latest scientific knowledge as well as developing innovative approaches for the study and treatment of psychological difficulties.

One of the core objectives of the laboratory is fostering collaboration and teamwork. Through the lab’s collaborative philosophy, relationships among members are cultivated and promoted. The laboratory organizes various social activities aimed at disseminating research findings while simultaneously nurturing interpersonal connections among its members.
