On the occasion of the International Data Privacy Day, established on 28 of January for raising awareness of the challenges of data protection and privacy and for informing people about their rights and how they can exercise them, the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus, Ms Irini Loizidou Nicolaidou, informed the students of the University of Cyprus regarding the personal data regulations (GDPR), at an event held on 23 January 2023.
