In the context of the digital humanities, the research programmes of the Sylvia Ioannou Foundation conducted in collaboration with the Department of Geography at Harokopio University, digital applications and educational books focussing on Cyprus will be presented. The event is under the auspices of the University of Cyprus.
All of the research programmes and their results highlight historical information regarding the geography, economy, environment and people of Cyprus. They are aimed at children and young people, as material for educational activities, as well as at the scientific community.
The event will be of interest to every Cypriot seeking the history of their country, tour guides, teachers, professors and researchers. The open access digital applications offer innovative tools for education and research.
