The KIOS Center of Excellence of the University of Cyprus is set to host representatives from 13 national chapters of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS) Algeria, Austria, Benelux, Cyprus, France, Germany, Italy, Kenya, Norway, Serbia & Montenegro, Spain, Tunisia, and the United Kingdom & Ireland.
The regional meeting, focused on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), is organized by the IEEE ITSS – Cyprus Chapter, in collaboration with the KIOS Center of Excellence at the University of Cyprus, and will take place on 16–17 October 2025 at the University of Cyprus premises.
The meeting aims to strengthen collaboration among universities, research institutions, industry, and public authorities involved in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) within IEEE Region 8, which includes Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
This year marks the fourth consecutive edition of the event, which is expected to welcome representatives from at least 13 IEEE ITSS national chapters: Algeria, Austria, Benelux, Cyprus, France, Germany, Italy, Kenya, Norway, Serbia and Montenegro, Spain, Tunisia, and the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Participation in the meeting is free of charge and will include talks, technical presentations, roundtable discussions with experts from industry, local authorities, and academia, as well as a poster exhibition and networking opportunities with professionals and organizations active in the ITS field.
