ANDREAS PITSILLIDES SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023
The Department of Computer Science accepts applications for Partial Tuition fees Scholarship for the sum of €2563. Eligible candidates are Master-lever students of the Department of Computer Science who are registered during the Winter Semester (2022-23). The criteria for the scholarships are the following: (a) To come from a low-income family, based on the criteria and mechanisms of the University of Cyprus and (b) To exhibit high academic performance. Applicants, are required to complete and sign the relevant application and submit it to the Department of Computer Science together with all the necessary certificates, until 26.9.2022. It is clarified that if the recipient of the scholarship has already paid their tuition fees, the scholarship amount will be returned to him/her.
CYPRUS UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS "EVAGORAS AND PRAXANDROS" FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS (DOCTOR AND MASTER LEVEL)

The University of Cyprus announces Full and Partial scholarships for new applicants in a conventional PhD programme. These scholarships are based on academic merit and are either full scholarships (i.e. tuition fees and an annual stipend of equal to €8.000) or partial scholarships (i.e. full coverage of tuition fees).

The University of Cyprus also announces Partial scholarships for new applicants in a conventional Master’s degree programme. These scholarships are based on academic merit and cover 50% of tuition fees.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UKRAINIAN REFUGEE STUDENTS

The University of Cyprus has decided to award 5 Full scholarships to Ukrainian refugee students recognizing the blatant violation of their rights, the coercion to flee their homeland and the destruction of public utility buildings and university facilities. Each scholarship covers tuition fees (including the tuition for attending greek language courses at the School of Modern Greek) as well as a monthly amount of €700 (€8.400 per year) for living expenses.

The scholarships aim to support the Ukrainian students that were forced to leave their homes and interrupt their future plans.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS FROM SAUDI ARABIA
The University of Cyprus announces five (5) scholarships for international applicants from Saudi Arabia who are interested in applying in a conventional postgraduate programme (Master and Doctorate level). The scholarships cover 50% of the tuition of the conventional postgraduate programme and they do not apply to self-funded programmes: School Counselling and Guidance, Natural Gas in Energy Transition, Gender Studies, MBA, TIME MBE, Human Resource Management, Intelligent Critical Infrastructure Systems, etc.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR OVERSEAS CYPRIOTS FOR STUDYING IN A UCY MASTERS PROGRAMME
The University of Cyprus announces up to 24 scholarships which are addressed to Cypriots of the Diaspora. To be eligible for a scholarship, the candidate must meet the admission requirements and have secured a place in the postgraduate programme of his/her choice. In addition, the candidate must be a Cypriot of the Diaspora and have a permanent residence in a foreign country for a continuous period of at least 10 years before submitting his/her application to the University of Cyprus for a scholarship.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SIBLINGS OR FIRST DEGREE RELATIVES OR MARRIED PARTNERS

The Graduate School announces that for the Winter Semester of the academic year 2022/2023 will grant scholarships for partial coverage of fees to graduate students of the University of Cyprus. The scholarships will be granted to the students who study to conventional Master’s and PhD programmes and are siblings or first-degree relatives or partners. In order for the scholarships to be granted, the students should fill certain requirements and provide the necessary documents and certificates that will be requested by the University of Cyprus.

 

Siblings: when two or more siblings (or other first-degree relatives) attend to a conventional Master’s or PhD programme at the same time, then they are granted 20% scholarship on the two doses of fees for the semester.
Partners: married couples that study to conventional Master’s or PhD programmes are granted 20% scholarship on the two doses of fees for the semester.”

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SYRIAN REFUGEES
The University of Cyprus announces one (1) scholarship for Syrian Refugees who were forced to stop their studies and would like to studying in Cyprus. The scholarships is addressed only to new applicants of Syrian nationality who reside in Cyprus for admission in any postgraduate programme of the University of Cyprus in September 2021. The scholarship will cover the full amount of tuition fees applied to the selected programme of studies plus accommodation.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE STAFF OF THE MINISTRY OF DEFENSE AND THE NATIONAL GUARD OF CYPRUS
The University of Cyprus announces four (4) scholarships for the staff of the Ministry of Defense of Cyprus and / or the National Guard of Cyprus. A condition for the granting of the scholarship is to secure a position in a postgraduate study program of the University of Cyprus. The scholarships apply only to newly admitted students for admission from September 2021. Each scholarship will cover the second 50% of the tuition fees (after the candidates first pay the first 50% of the fees). The University of Cyprus announces four (4) scholarships for the staff of the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) from 2022-2025. A condition for the scholarship is to secure a place in a conventional postgraduate study program of the Department of Business Administration and Public Administration or Law or Economics or Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE STUDENTS OF THE MASTERS PROGRAMME “DIGITAL HERITAGE AND LANDSCAPE ARCHAEOLOGY”

A number of partial scholarships for the coverage of the tuition fees (5125 Euros) is available for full time enrolled students of the Masters (M.Sc.) program "DIGITAL HERITAGE AND LANDSCAPE ARCHAEOLOGY". SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS OF "NATURAL GAS ENGINEERING IN ENERGY TRANSITION" PROGRAMME
The fees and tuitions for the programme €8.000, for Cypriot citizens are covered by sponsorship from the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry to the University of Cyprus. In addition, the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry can provide an additional grant for living allowance (Indicative for the year 2021-22 was €4500)
