The seminar programme titled “The Board of Directors and Advisors in a Cyprus Limited Liability Company (LLC)”, delivered by Associate Professor Thomas Papadopoulos and offered online, aims to provide participants with the basic knowledge needed to understand this crucial body and this highly important category of officers within a limited liability company.
The expected benefit of this programme is the understanding of the basic legal framework governing administration and decision-making in a limited liability company through the board of directors and the advisors. The originality of the seminar lies in the detailed analysis of these key issues of Cyprus company law through the lens of theory and case law.
It is addressed to alumni, students, lawyers/legal advisors, judges, academics and researchers in Cyprus company law, public administration officers, such as officers of the Registrar of Companies, businesses providing investment and administrative services, compliance officers, auditors and economists, individuals involved in and specializing in business administration, and persons intending to establish or participate as advisors and/or shareholders in a company in Cyprus.
