The research team of the project BRAINN held the first open day for long COVID on Saturday 20 January 2024 at the University of Cyprus, Kallipoleos 75, 1678 Nicosia.
At the open day, researchers from Center for Applied Neuroscience presented the research conducted by the project BRAINN to study long COVID in Cyprus. Moreover, medical experts working on treating the symptoms of long COVID and member of the Cyprus Federation of Patients’ Associations gave talks about long COVID in Cyprus.
At the end of the open day, focus groups were conducted with the aim to understand the experiences and needs of individuals who experience long COVID and the medical experts who work on treating patients with long COVID.
The open day and focus groups were free and open to everyone interested in attending. The talks and focus groups were in Greek.
