Welcome to the official website of the Twinning project Brain Research and Integrative Neuroscience Network for COVID-19 (BRAINN). BRAINN aims to characterise the effects of COVID-19 on brain health and to elevate the standards of assessment, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of patients with mental health and cognitive problems due to COVID-19.

The project is coordinated by the Center for Applied Neuroscience, University of Cyprus, and is implemented in collaboration with three well-renowned partners in brain research: Maastricht University, Ghent University and King’s College London. The purpose of this collaboration is to advance the research and innovation capacity of the University of Cyprus, as defined in the Work Program for “Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area”. The project BRAINN is funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme (101079001).
