On 29 September 2025, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs attended the scientific conference “Research and Copyright Law” in Athens.
The Vice-Rector emphasised the need for balanced copyright policies that facilitate research, referring to the prospects of the upcoming ERA Act, education in Artificial Intelligence in the academic sphere, open science, the right of secondary publication, and the research exceptions in Cypriot copyright law in relation to the EU acquis and fundamental rights.
