September 26, 2025We inform you that since the beginning of September, the work of Assistant Professor of our Department, Mr. Konstantinos Tsinas, has been published by Sakkoulas Publications (Athens-Thessaloniki), under the title:
“R. Alexy, Theory of Legal Argumentation. The Theory of Rational Discourse as a Theory of Legal Justification (translation-editing-epilogue).”
This is the first and only translation into Greek from the original German of the classic book by German public law scholar and legal philosopher Robert Alexy. The book addresses fundamental issues in legal theory. It has already been translated into 10 languages, and its author has been awarded 14 honorary doctorates from universities in Europe and Latin America. He is considered one of the leading international authorities in the field of public law.
The book is accompanied by an extensive interpretive note by the translator, which explores issues related to legal argumentation.
