The MBA Program of the University of Cyprus, as part of its socially responsible priorities, offers scholarships to qualified applicants. The scholarships are awarded competitively on the basis of (a) candidates’ credentials: academic performance, professional experience and potential contribution to the program, (b) candidate’s socio-economic status/need and (c) academic excellence. The scholarships are granted in the form of substantial tuition waivers and the continuation of them for the whole duration of studies is subject to terms and conditions. Our network of partners, consisted of firms and organizations in Cyprus and abroad, also offer grants and awards to the UCYMBA students rewarding the academic excellence, the dedication and the ethos of our students.

Since 2023, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder and owner of the easy family of brands and founder and president of the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, has officially inaugurated a scholarship program for students entering the UCY MBA Program. This initiative stands as a distinctive honor for the UCY MBA Program, depicting its reputation for exceptional quality and prestige.

The introduction of scholarships by the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation to the University of Cyprus. and specifically to the MBA Program,  marks a significant milestone, emphasizing the institution's pioneering status as the first academic entity to receive such benefaction where the founder himself has not studied. Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou's commitment to supporting aspiring minds underscores the Foundation's dedication to education and highlights the University of Cyprus as an academic institution of excellence. 

Stelios' Philanthropic Foundation scholarships will be awarded to individuals who have submitted their application and are accepted into the Program for admission in September 2024 based on academic and socio-economic criteria.
