An event for the delivery of a work of art, created by six children, to the Ambassador of Ukraine, Mr. Ruslan Nimchykskyi, was held at the University of Cyprus last Wednesday. The project, which is inspired by the work of the iconic Ukrainian painter Maria Prymanchenko and is called “Siepos”, was prepared under the guidance of the children’s literature writer, Ms. Sandis Antoniou and the Visual Arts and Art teacher, Ms. Elena Tsigaridou.

The event that took place on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, ended with the handover to the Ambassador of Ukraine, Mr. Ruslan Nimchykskyi of the work of art “Siepos” prepared by as a sign of support and solidarity with the children of Ukraine. The event was coordinated by Associate Professor and holder of the Jean Monnet European Chair (2001), Mrs. Kalliopi Agapiou Iosifidou.
