2nd Exchange Visit

The "2^nd Exchange Visit” consisted of two components: First it was the joint participation of UCY and UC3M in the Open Science Fair Conference in Madrid on 25-27/09/23 and then a visit at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid held on September 28, 2023, specifically at the Getafe Campus.  The Open Science Fair Conference (http://opensciencefair.eu/) was a significant event dedicated to advancing and reforming research assessment and promoting Open Science. The conference addressed various important topics, starting with alternative assessment approaches, exploring how to value all contributions to the scholarly process. This discussion emphasised the need for a more inclusive and equitable research environment, recognising the diverse contributions of researchers and fostering greater diversity and inclusion within the scientific community. The conference also examined the role of funding and institutional support in facilitating these changes.
