The Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Cyprus announces two (2) scholarships to new students of the MSc in Finance program, for the academic year 2024/2025. In addition, two more scholarships are offered to existing students of the postgraduate program in Finance. The four full scholarships (or the equivalent of a combination of full and partial scholarships) for individuals with strong academic performance will be funded by Ernst & Young (EY) Cyprus and in addition to the tuition fees it will cover the certification fees from the CFA Institute for those interested. It is noted that the scholarships are combined with employment opportunities in EY’s Strategy and Transaction Advisory Services.

The Cooperation Memorandum was signed on November 27th, 2023, by Stelios Demetriou, Partner, Head of Strategy & Transactions (SaT), and the Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance, Professor Andreas Milidonis.

This collaboration is an important milestone for the two organizations, as it aims to empower and support financially and professionally the graduates of the MSc program in Finance.

Selection is competitive and will be based on academic merit. Eligible students who apply will follow EY’s recruitment process, which will then inform the successful candidates and offer them an employment contract.

For the academic year 2024/2025, 20 places are also offered in the Finance MSc program with the deadline for applications being April 2nd, 2024. Applications for admission and scholarships are submitted electronically via the following link:
